Glencadam – 25 Years Old – The Remarkable – Limited Edition
Glencadam distillery is located between Dundee and Aberdeen, close to the lost distilleries North Port, Hillside and Lochside.
The Glencadam 25 Years was a limited edition launched in 2016 and still the oldest age statement in the core range. It is a composition of bourbon casks.
The limited-edition 25 Year Old , laid down before the turn-of-the-millennium shutdown of the distillery, is a beauty. Aged in ex-bourbon barrels, it’s quite sprightly for its age, with a pale gold color and a sweet, floral nose. It’s supple and creamy on the tongue, with rich notes of vanilla, honey, and marzipan, and a dry, slightly spicy finish. It’s a great introduction to the brand for newbies, and a delicious treat for longtime fans.
