Fettercairn Warehouse 2 Batch 1
Fettercairn is one of Scotland’s oldest distilleries which has a wide range of barrels maturing in their warehouses.
The Warehouse Collection is a series that highlights what we’ll be able to expect from their 14 warehouses in the future. The first in the series – Warehouse 2 Batch 1 – is an assembly of 5 different barrel types: ex-bourbon barrels, port pipes, Vasyma sherry butts, Tevasa sherry barrels and a small particle of “unseasoned” Vasyma barrels.
In addition to the influence of these special barrels, the typical Fettercairn house style – tropical and slightly spicy – is particularly beautifully preserved in this limited edition release at 49.7%.
