Dingle whiskeys are mostly influenced by the amazing environment of the peninsula where the distillery is located, in the western edge of Europe. Those whiskies are made with the highest standards and a unique know how of the master distiller. Produced from a water sourced in a well below the distillery, they are slowly distilled, non-chill filtered and extremely pure. Dingle was one of the first irish craft distilleries and is at last available in France with a series of very refined triple distilled whiskeys. This Dingle Single Malt is the lastest release of the distillery and also its core and permanent whiskey. Triple distilled from malted barley only, it has been double matured in first-fill ex-bourbon cask (39% of the blending) and first-fill ex-PX cask (61%) The infuence of both cask profiles is very clear, with citrus, stewed fruit, vanilla, honey and caramel notes from bourbon supplemented with flavors of spices, red fruits and raisins from PX. A very fresh, oaky and rich whiskey!
